Lyrics (Letra):
Someone pulled the switch My heart began to twitch Until it started humming And it hasn’t stopped since
I feel it changing Maybe there’s no turning back, now
When you touch me So timidly It reminds me that we’re bound in the same way
And if not now, Then how long until…? We shouldn’t rush into this, but I don’t want to stand still.
Water colored petals on the tree line They flutter at your feet, I’m thinking this time I’ll crack this shell and drown you in my love…completely
Do anything it takes to warm your cold feet, A promised passed by kiss, smiling fidelity The hum slows down, only to start again.
Your shoulders…ease under…my trembling hands
Everything’s changing Faster and faster, we can’t turn back, now
Hold me tighter Until the sun goes out Until the stars fall and we lose ourselves
And in a hundred years If it comes to pass That we meet fate, may it be hand in hand.
